Notipal explicitly asks when we need information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”). Your personal information is used to authorize your access to our email notification service, and to contact you whilst you are using our product. Any financial information that is collected is used for verification, identitification and billing either for you, or your company for products and services, as applicable. Profile data collected by Notipal may be used to customize this web site or any requested email communications, and to display information that makes our service more relevant to you. Notipal my collect product usage data, but in the aggregate only, and may make that aggregate information publicly available. Notipal will not make publicly available any personal information about an individual user.
Your email address is used to only send you information that you have requested from Notipal. As part of your use of our email notification software, Notipal allows you to choose to receive, or not receive, certain information from our service. Notipal adheres to permission-based email policy. Excluding the aforementioned exceptions, Notipal will not send you unsolicited email. Notipal will not sell, rent, or loan our contact lists or our customer’s subscriber lists (including customer data) to any third parties nor will Notipal use customer subscriber lists for our own marketing initiatives. All emails that you have requested will have an option to unsubscribe. No further communications will be sent to users who have stated that they do not wish to receive the specified information.
We co-operate with government and law enforcement agencies in common with similar web services, and we may, as required by law, pass your data to law enforcement agencies or other governmental agencies.
Subscriber Lists, Email Content and Statistical Reports
Notipal ensures that all subscriber lists, email content and statistical reports will remain confidential. Notipal may scan the content of your campaigns to ensure it complies with our Terms of Use — to protect against any content that we deem to be inappropriate or offensive. Notipal will not sell, rent, loan or invite external access to a customer’s subscriber lists. Notipal will not use customer’s subscriber lists for any purpose.
Communications
Updates to Our Service
During account registration, we send an email to verify your account and to confirm your username and password. Previously registered users will occasionally receive marketing messages, news and information relating to our web site, products and services. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such information or communications from us, please un-check the 'Email Newsletter' option in your account settings.
Service Announcements
If our service is temporarily unavailable due to technical issues or similar circumstances, it may be deemed necessary to send out a service availability related announcement. These communications are not promotional in nature. At present, we do not offer an opt-out procedure for these communications, but users are free to deactivate their account.
